Water Bill Solutions was founded from firsthand experience, not as a technology company, but as property owners looking for a better way to manage water consumption in our own buildings.
Before starting Water Bill Solutions, our founder, Dan Illes, built a career in civil engineering and urban planning before moving into real estate investing and residential development. As landlords and builders ourselves, we understand the challenges that come with designing, constructing, and operating multi-residential properties.
When we began installing wireless water submetering systems in our own rental buildings, we quickly saw the benefits beyond simply measuring water usage. Submetering provided accurate, transparent consumption data, helped identify leaks early, encouraged water conservation, and created a fair method of allocating water costs.
After seeing those results firsthand, Water Bill Solutions was created to help other property owners implement the same technology.
Today, we work with developers, builders, landlords, and property managers across Canada, supplying wireless water submetering systems and providing ongoing water billing services. We also support thousands of interactions between property owners and residents each year, with a focus on clear communication, responsive customer service, and straightforward billing.
